BUILDING TIP: DESK ORGANIZERS

If you’re as messy as most of the LEGO® Master Builders, your collection of LEGO bricks can really come in handy for organizing your desk or dresser. The great thing about brick-built organizers is that you can customize them to fit your own stuff, and change and rebuild them whenever you want!

Try making a desk organizer or a CD rack that you can add to as your music collection grows. These are simple builds, but they might give you a few ideas for making even bigger and better organizers!



BUILDING TIP: USING MINIFIGURES

LEGO® minifigures aren’t just fun – they can come in handy when you’re building, too! Not only can minifigures (“minifigs” for short) hold things in their hands, but you can attach LEGO pieces on top of their hands, too.

Building a scene out of your LEGO bricks? Minifigures are a great way to add a touch of silliness! They’re one of the Master Builders’ favorite tools for making fun scenes and keeping things funny.



BUILDING TIP: NOT ENOUGH COLORS

Sometimes, you just don’t have enough of the one color you need for your LEGO® brick creation.

Here’s a trick the Master Builders like to use! Rather than jumbling up all their colors, they take the ones they have and arrange them into a pattern that makes sense for the model. A good color pattern can make a cool model even cooler!

The Master Builders recently had to build a model of an ancient temple. It had lots of identical columns, so they made them into a pattern of all kinds of wild colors. It made the model a lot more fun!
